Classic lessons bored him — so he built the game he wished he had: a world where every vocabulary word becomes a collectible creature, where der/die/das become battle types, and where reviewing makes you want to come back.
Every creature embodies a German word: KÄSLING is a cheese (der Käse), WARTESCHLANGE a waiting line. You remember the word because you remember the creature.
Quick quiz, audio listening, gender choice, word spelling: four attack types that are four exercises — the better you answer, the harder you hit.
The three genders are three battle types with strengths and weaknesses, in textbook colors. You absorb them by playing, not reciting.
